Students are unique individuals and just like quilts, no two workshops are ever the same!
My goal is to provide a fun yet educational day. I use humour to make learning fun, while assessing and providing for each persons personal needs.
No matter the age, experience or goals my focus is on enjoyment!
My workshops run from 10.00 to 4.00, but can be tailored to specific needs.
I like to keep classes small, so have an limit of students of 16. More normally it is 12 students. This way I can devote the time necessary to each student to ensure a very personal experience.
I am used to teaching foreign students, having travelled and taught in most of Europe, South Africa and the USA. As I enjoy travel so much, the international teaching I do is a very enjoyable part of my life.
I also enjoy residential classes where I can intereact with my students over several days. I have been a regular teacher at the lovely Missenden Abbey and at Lilac Barns in Somerset (see links)
